Multi-choice has made 20 years on the Ugandan market. It is hard to believe that the Pay-TV pioneer has been around for 20 years.
In the 20 years of operation, Multi-choice has grown by leaps and bounds. They were the first subscription TV service on the market and are still the market leader. Along the way, they have established themselves as a trend-setter and master innovator.
From humble beginnings in 1995 with only 3 analog channels, they have since grown into a fully-fledged digital TV provider with over 150 channels and 5 different packages. They switched to digital as early as 2006 almost a decade to the analog-digital migration deadline (June 17th 2015).
Some new innovations include access to TV programming online and on personal communication devices and the recently launched Box-Office (movie rentals).
Their 20th birthday on 27th September, also coincided with the move into their new state-of-the-art offices at Impala Avenue, Kololo.
